Magnetized MDF Enclosure with Grille

The MDF enclosure used by the Bronze w10 produces precise, colorless sound. For maximum rigidity and minimal cabinet coloring, the enclosure is constructed entirely of rigid 18mm MDF using radial and cross-bracing techniques. The bookshelf speaker also includes a magnetically attached acoustically transparent material grille.

C-CAM Methodology

The Bronze series w10 bookshelf loudspeaker system uses C-CAM driver technology, which offers coherent tonal balance and sonic signature throughout the input audio frequency band. When in use, standard drivers run the risk of flexing or twisting, producing a significant amount of noisy distortion. C-CAM drivers show significantly more fidelity across their whole operating range because they have a substantially stronger resistance to bending stress.

Technology at Hive Port

With its bass reflex cabinet and front-firing port, the Bronzew10 loudspeaker from Monitor Audio offers increased efficiency and a larger bass response from a small bookshelf speaker. This is made possible by the HiVe port technology. The HiVe bass reflex port is designed to provide an airflow effect akin to that of a bullet's barrel. For a more rapid and dramatic bass response, the port's fluted grooves help to accelerate flow and reduce turbulence, allowing air to enter and exit the port more efficiently.

Silver Dome Tweeter

The Bronze-w10's monitor audio frequency response is extended to an ultrasonic 30 kHz by the newly designed 1" C-CAM silver Dome speaker unit, which allows for the complete reproduction of harmonic frequencies that are crucial for accurately recreating the break in a piano string or the crash of a hi-hat. Improvements to the drive mechanism and dome shape have also improved accuracy and extension at the highest point of the tweeter's range, producing the remarkable high-frequency quality that contributes to the loudspeaker's overall sound definition.

Double Binding Posts plated in silver

Two pairs of binding posts with silver plating on the bronze-W10 speaker are joined by wire jumpers. It will be possible to bi-wire or bi-amp the speaker using the twin posts. The bass and treble performance of the speaker can be enhanced by bi-wiring or bi-amping. The jumpers between the terminal posts must be removed if you choose to bi-wire or bi-amp; otherwise, your amplifier and loudspeakers may sustain damage.
