C-CAM Gold Dome Tweeter, 1-1/4"

The newly designed 1" C-CAM Gold Dome loudspeaker allows for the complete reproduction of harmonic frequencies that are crucial to precise reproduction by extending the monitor audio floor-standing speaker's frequency response to an ultrasonic 30kHz. An inventive discharge mechanism in the New Silver Tower Loudspeaker allows air to pass past the magnet assembly of the tweeter and into a rear loading chamber, eliminating air compression at the rear of the dome for decreased distortion, decreased mechanical resonance, and enhanced damping.

C-CAM Methodology

The S-500 BY monitor speaker unit uses C-CAM driver technology throughout, which offers a consistent sonic identity and tonal balance over the entering audio frequency band. The aerospace industry invented ceramic-coated aluminum/magnesium as a material for jet engine components. Its characteristics make it perfect for speaker units since it is quite stiff but still light enough to produce excellent overall efficiency. The aluminum/magnesium alloy is subjected to a three-step stress-relieving process during manufacturing in order to eliminate surface deformation and molecular weakness.

Dual-Amping and Dual-Wiring

With bi-amping, you may increase the dynamic range and reduce distortion of your speaker by using different amplifiers for its high and low frequency parts. To maintain the balance of the speaker's voice, we advise that the gain of each of your individual amplifiers be the same.
